What is a SIP?

SIP’s are Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) that are made of Oriented Strand Board and foam insulation

What level of insulation do SIP panels provide?

Basic SIPs are 4.5” thick and provide a value of R-26 (code R-22); exterior wall and roof SIP’s are 6.5” thick and provide an amazing R-40 (code R-28) insulation value

Are SIP’s weather resistant?

Polyurethane foam helps to avoid mold and mildew growth and will not support nesting by vermin

Doesn’t foam give off fumes?

These SIP’s contain no formaldehyde’s – completely non-toxic and safe

Are these homes quiet?

The insulation nature of the panel reduces infiltration of noise – it’s quieter inside

What is the durability of the Post and Panel architecture?

Urethane foam insulation is durable and provides consistent performance over the lifetime of the structure.
